Construction Noise

The building of highways, repairs of roads are common in almost all cities.Construction equipment include trucks, machines, bull-dozers, cranes, cement mixers. All of these generate loud noise. Construction workers are exposed to high levels of noise. Noise can reduced be by replacing old equipment with new ones, buying quieter equipments and creating noise perimeter zones. These zones are set to find the safest distance from the source of noise. Noise from machines may spread more in one direction than another. Noise levels are set and the area roped to exclude workers who do not need to be in the zone.
