| Firstly, bandwidth sharing of the medium is a limiting factor. A wireless access point (AP)’s bandwidth is divided among the number of users connecting to it. As more people are connected to the same access point, it dilutes the available speed. Hence, the connection will become slower as the wireless speed automatically drops to offset the weaker signal.
