Hi! I am Neehal. I am studying in grade IX and am 14 years old. I am simple, sincere, fun loving and friendly, though I’m choosy about my friends. I am a hard working and responsible person. I’ve always put my best in everything that I’ve done. 

 My academic aspiration is to become a good student of Science with requisite skills to face this competitive world. I have been learning Karnatic Classical Music from the past 6 years. My personal interests and hobbies include singing, painting and to see new places. I love visiting mountainous areas and wildlife sanctuaries. Apart from India, I have visited countries like Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Switzerland, France and USA (West coast).

 I love reading books, mainly fantasy and mystery. I am still to come across my favourite book or series. ‘Tom and Jerry’ is my favourite cartoon. Winnie, the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet are my favourite cartoon characters.

 Before coming to Delhi, I have lived in cities like Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Kolkata. In this process, I have seen new places and made new friends. I am interested in exploring my country’s rich cultural heritage. Apart from my mother tongue, Telugu, I converse fluently in English and Hindi. Currently, I am learning French.

In the last summer, I was selected by DUKE University (USA) – TIP (Talent Identification Programme), for a workshop on JAVA for video games at IIM-Ahmedabad. This gave me a unique opportunity to learn a new area, in one of my most interested areas of study i.e. computers and also spend quality and fruitful time during my summer vacation. That summer had been one of the best and most memorable summer vacations spent away from my home and family.
