Electric cars are safer for the environment because they do not cause harmful conditions such as smog, greenhouse gases, and carbon dioxide. Unlike gasoline, electric cars do not release nitrogen oxides and unused hydrocarbons.

In the example of a 50 mpg car, and the price of gas at $4.00, the charge will be 8 cents per mile. However the charge for an electrical car will be 2 to 3 cents a mile.

Last summer the gas prices were high. This is the reason that some people are trying to invest in electrical cars and these cars might be the future of the car industry. Even motorcycles can become electrical.

In China they already have electric hybrid cars; they came out with it a year before the U.S. could even put similar cars on the market. The car is called an F3DM that has a little gasoline tank that charges your battery as you're driving, and you can plug it in your home outlet. It is priced thousand of dollars lower than the an American model expected out soon.

What are electric cars?

Electrical cars are cars that don’t run on gasoline but run on a battery. It charges in your household electrical outlet.
