Asia, on average, is a much poorer continent than others. They eat food
that requires little land, and agriculture they can provide for themselves.
For example, rice is grown in little ponds, often created by a near by river
or even just rainwater. This is why rice is used so much in Asia. Seafood is
also common in Asia. Asia is filled with many waters that contain fish and
other water creatures. It is easy to obtain food for families by fishing, which
is the reason why it is common. Vegetables are also part of their diet
because they are nutritious and also easy to grow. In parts of India it is
popular to use spices in foods such as curry. When early explorers
discovered North America, they were actually on the hunt for a passage to
India, to obtain their spices. Because India is lucky to have them, they are
used consistently.
