Fire Usage

Fire has played a very important role in human life. As time went by, the role of fire has adapted to our needs. But even so, we still use fire for very basic needs.

Food

Fire plays has, and still plays an important role when preparing food to be eaten. Since fire releases heat, it has many purposes when preparing food. It can heat up food, cook, and kill any bacteria that lies in the food. Because fire releases heat, it also is able to purify water, and heat it up to a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit), which is boiling point. Fire can also be used to cook food.

Survival

Fire has also played a very important role in terms of survival. Since cavemen and cavewomen days, fire has been an important thing to have in order to survive in the wilderness. Fire is a source of light and heat, which is essential. Fire can keep you and other things warm, and is a good source of light when it is too dark to see and navigate around. Because of fire's ability to burn, it is good for defence wild animals and other humans (Don't attempt, please).

Combustion

The process of when fossil fuels are burned to create energy is combustion. Combustion is a chemical reaction between a fuel and a oxidizer which is usually heat or light (such as fire). There are six types of combustion they are: rapid, slow, complete, turbulent, microgravity and incomplete. In the case of fossil fuels be burned to start a car that is turbulent combustion. ItŐs used because it helps mix the fuel and the oxidizer.
