Soccer in U.S.

Soccer is usually known as football in most places, but has been very popular in the United States for many years. This sport is entertaining for young boys and girls as with adults. In the 80's and 90's indoor soccer started. This was a successful idea, everybody loved it. In 1862 soccer was played outside of Britian. The Football Association had Princeton University and Rutgers University play the first match ever in the United States November 6, 1869.
The United States Major League Soccer has 13 different teams plus a team with Canada. There are 21 different teams in the United States Leagues. The teams that aren't in the United States are very competitive with Major League Soccer ("Soccer in the United States").
