High Tide Zone
The High Tide zone is home to a few different animals. A lot of Barnacles including gooseneck barnacles, green and brown seaweeds, sea lettuce and a lot of other different organisms depending on its location and climate. Only organisms that can survive rough waves and long exposure to air can survive in the high tide zone. A few other animal including limpets, crabs, snails and other algae thrive in this region. When the tide is out, some of these animals protect themselves by living in shallow pools of water trapped in the rocks or they dry out.
