Mental Health.

Many scientists have found that one’s self-esteem is closely related to their mental health. Severe body dissatisfaction can lead to low self-esteem. This leads to depression and anxiety. According to several estimates, two million teens suffer from severe depression.

In a survey, they have found that 7 in 10 adolescents are depressed, and girls are more likely to be depressed than boys. Severely low self-esteems can lead to a poor mental health, leading to suicide. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among adolescents. One in every three adolescents has friends who have talked about or tried suicide. Unfortunately, the rate of suicide had tripled in the past ten years, as 2000 American teens have committed suicide.
