Extreme winter sports are the winter version of the Xgames. In fact, there is a winter X games. These extreme winter sports are perhaps the most risky. In extreme winter sports, there are events like snowboarding, skiing, half- pipe, free-style and even downhill skating.There are precautions you must follow or you might end up breaking something. This sport includes the famous snowboarder Shaun White and the famous skier Simon Dumont. One of the newer sports in extreme winter sports is Redbull Crashed Ice. This sports is like downhill skiing but it is downhill on ice with skates. This sport takes place most of the time in Québec. In these sports when you fall, it's not a soft landing. You'll land on ice, or hard-packed snow with your ski polls, skis, snow boards and skates flying everywhere twisting your legs, arms and potentially cutting yourself or others(ouch).
