Applications in Computers: In the computer you can have many applications. Some of the most useful applications are; Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (email), and Microsoft PowerPoint, and The Internet.
1. Microsoft Word- Having Microsoft word as an application on your computer is very helpful. This application allows you to type documents, letters and essays. Also you can insert pictures and charts to go along with what you are writing.
2. Excel- The program Excel is very useful for adults and students. It allows you to be able to insert and make charts. Also it can give you the calculations, readings and estimates. It can organize and place information so it looks neater, is easier to understand and read, and look professional. Excel can help you with your business work too. If you had this application you could keep track on your debits, credits, and your balances.
3. Microsoft Outlook- This application is email. It allows you to send, forward, and receive emails from or to other people. Also in the outlook you can keep a contact list, calendar, and a task list. It also allows you to delete and save messages that you want, but if you don’t mean to delete an email, there is a folder that allows you to access it again. The folders on the outlook can separate and organized your emails for you as well.
4. Microsoft Power Point- This program is an application that lets you put information on slides and then allows you to run the sides in the sequence that you want. You can also animate the sides so they are more interesting and appealing to your audience.
5. Internet- Having access to the internet allows you to be able to search information on the spot. You can find almost anything you need on the internet whether it is recipes, locations, pictures, or reference topics. The possibilities of the different subjects are endless. Also, the internet gives different links to websites that specializes on the matter at hand. This gives different points of views and variety to the one topic that you searched.
Computers are a privilege to have in life. They are a big advantage in many ways.
