A favorite France dish is called chicken and funne.

A normal breakfast would consist of coffee, a bagel and fruits, and the lunch is not served till noon or 2 "o" clock and at 2:30 or 3.  The restaurants then close to prepare food for dinner which is eaten at 5 or 6. I wonder what they would eat if they got hungry  in between those times? Meals go from the very basic, such as the traditional baguette and cheese plus inexpensive wine, to very fancy meals that can involve a dozen courses and different wines consumed over several hours. Obviously, the latter type of dining is exceptional for most people. However, it is this more sophisticated dining which is typically found in "French restaurants" outside France, giving many foreigners the mistaken impression that French food is heavy and hard. In fact, much of the French cuisine is fairly simple, relying on high quality fresh ingredients and loving preparation rather than hard recipes.
