Dr. Imran Sadiq

Dr.Imran is a known psychiatrist of Pakistan, having completed his Heavy based technique from Quaid-e-Azam university and his Post graduation from London Universi ty. Being in this profession since 1991 and having completed his 18th year, he is a very expereinced personality. We thank him for giving us his valuable time and providing us with the information we needed for our website. For example, he sahred that he has expereinced a lot of clients with many mental disorders due to Gadgets. There are no direct effects of the gadgets but many types of disorders occur due to the use of Gadgets. Sleep disorder results if you stay awake late night or listen to music and many types of dependencies.

Professor Mark Griffiths

Professor Griffiths is an award-winning Chartered Psychologist and Director of the International Gaming Research Unit. He is renowned worldwide for his outstanding research on Gambling, Handheld Game Consoles and Addiction. Up to date, he has published over 200 refereed research papers, numerous books, over 50 book chapters, over 550 other articles and has supervised over a dozen PhD students. Though we were unable to meet him personally due to geographical distance, he has very generously assisted us by sharing with us some of his previous research results and articles written when we contacted him through Email.

Our Friends and Surveyees

All feedbacks, suggestions and support from friends motivated us and contributed to the final product of Portable Partners. A variety of surveyees scattered across the globe helped to build the foundation for our site, which provided a yardstick to choosing which were the most dominant points or problematic issues to tackle and discuss. In addition, the diverse nature of our surveyees brought different point of views and global perspectives to our site.
