These Alpine Skiing events are timed. The skiers ski one at a time on the run so that no one skis into another. Times are judged up to one one-hundredth of a second. The skier with the least amount of time wins the individual event.
There are six different types of Alpine skiing in the Winter Olympics including Cross Country Skiing, Slalom Skiing, Ski Jumping, Super G, Giant Slalom, and Combined.
