Dollars and Sense
Coins
Pennies are worth 1 cent each. They are almost useless when you are buying something that costs a lot of money. Don't take too many Pennies out of your bank acount. 100 Pennies make 1 dollar
Nickles are more useful than pennies. Still, don't withdraw too many from your bank account. Each Nickle is worth 5 cents. 20 Nickles make 1 dollar.
Dimes are quite useful. They are worth 10 cents. Since most products end with a cost of 99 cents, Dimes can easily be used to purchase that item. 10 Dimes make 1 dollar.
More on Coins
Quarters are extremely useful. 4 Quarters make up 1 dollar. You can withdraw tons of Quarters from a bank account if you wish, but I don't reccomend it.
Half dollars are some of the most useful coins ever. 2 make up 1 dollar. They are more rare than quarters though.
Be careful not to waste old ones which could potentially be valuable.
There is not much I can say about these elusive coins. They are quite rare so DON'T SPEND THEM!!!!!!!! As it is quite obvious, 1 Sacagawea Golden Dollar is equal to 1 dollar.
Presidential dollars
This is a George Washington Dollar. If you get one, don't spend it. They are quite elusive.
This is a John Adams (not to be confused with John Quincy Adams) dollar. This rare coin is very difficult to find. If you do find one, I envy you. Don't spend them.
This is a Thomas Jefferson dollar. It is quite rare. Don't spend any of them you find or get. Actually, I don't have any.
More Presidential Dollars
This is a James Madison dollar. It is rare. My suggestion is that you do not spend any that you get.
This is a James Monroe Dollar. It is also rare. Do not spend it unless you have no other option.
This is a John Quincy Adams dollar. This is another rare coin. Don't ever spend these rare coins.
