Help shut down Puppy Mills and save all of the poor dogs in them! Together we can save them all and have the owners of Puppy Mills in trouble.
| Puppy Mills are all over the place and they breed different kinds of dogs together and don’t care what breeds and they breed them at least four times a year they breed them until the mom dies. Puppy Mills call the different kinds of dogs that they make unique breeds. They barely feed them enough to keep them alive. They only care about the babies and they just immediately (after 5-8 weeks old) sell them to pet stores or they auction them off.
If the dog hasn't been bought after a while they will kill it and find more dogs to do the same thing to. If you look at a dog from a Puppy Mill next to a dog that is at a rescue, the difference would be amazing. The Puppy Mill dog would be skinny and sickly looking, with a lot less hair. Next to the puppy mill dog the rescue dog would look like it was royalty.
Most pet stores buy dogs from puppy mills. Some puppy mills either don't remove dead dogs or through them in the trash(for an imafe go to photo gallery.) Puppy mills are like dog pounds. They don't provide the proper care and they kill the dogs if even a little thing is wrong with them or if they don't get sold. When you walk into a pet store and see all those poor dogs on the other side of their cages it makes you want to take them all home with you, right? Well that's what they want you to see so you pay them so they can pay the Puppy Mills. If you buy a dog from a pet store and not a rescue you may be saving one dog, but killing a hundred by paying them and keeping business going.

How to STOP Puppy Mills
People can help shut down puppy mills and save thousands of puppies in need. All you need to do is tell friends and family not to buy puppies from pet stores. If you buy a puppy from a pet store that gets their dogs from puppy mills you may think you’re saving the poor little puppy in the cage, but you are just opening up space to put another puppy. If nobody supported puppy mills and stopped buying dogs and started adopting instead, the puppy mills wouldn’t have enough money to keep up business and will be forced to stop. Tell friends to pass it on to family and friends and together we can save all those puppies in need of help.
