     This site was created because we wanted to teach girls that they can be anything they want to be when they grow up. Our website is called D.I.G. into S.T.E.M. because we believe “Dreams Inspire Goals.” S.T.E.M. is an abbreviation for the science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Don't be afraid to dream about what you want to be when you grow up. If you dream, you will be inspired to make goals to reach your dream. And don't be afraid to dream big! It's your future and it may lead you to an exciting career.

      Hey girls, has anyone ever made you feel like boys are smarter than girls? Have you ever been told that you can’t do something because you’re a girl? Did you know that you could be an engineer when you grow up? If you’ve ever felt this way than this site is for you!

      Our site is intended for girls ages 10 and up. However, that doesn’t mean that other people such as parents, teachers, and boys can’t look at it too. Parents can learn why these career fields are important to their daughter's future. They can also learn about how much money their daughters might make if they get a job in one of the S.T.E.M. fields. Teachers can learn how girls learn in school and how to treat them fairly. You’re probably wondering what boys can learn from a girl's website. Well, they can learn how to treat girls fairly because they don’t even know how we feel when they tease us. S.T.E.M. targets girls. However, this topic affects boys too. You might see this affect your sister, mother,friend and someday your future wife. This site will give you a whole new perspective when you work with a girl. We belive in equality.
