Nyx

Goddess of the Night.

Nyx was a goddess with black wings who lived in the Underworld and only came out at night.  She was the daughter of the god Chaos.  She also had a brother, Erebus.  Nyx and Erebus had two children, Aether (Atmosphere) and Hemera (Day).  In some legends, Nyx had more children on her own.  Those children all lived in the Underworld.
