Angkor Wat was built as a temple for suryavarman II, the king of Khmer in Angkor, Cambodia.It was designed to look like Mt. Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology. A lot of tourists come to the Angkor Wat, in 2004-2005 about 1,238,000 tourists came to Siem Reap province 50% foreign tourists.
