Technical Problems

The future will bring us lots of new and revolutionary technologies; you’re already being confronted with them almost all the time through the news and the internet. But there’s a downside to all these new developing technologies, it will probably also bring a lot of new and hard-to-solve problems. Also because of the improving and modifying of existing technologies into more complex technologies, the problems will automatically become more complicated as well.
The sun is the most powerful energy supplier in the world, but sadly enough we don’t have the developed technology to harness its powers yet. But this will change in the future thanks to solar power technologies. However this new type of energy doesn’t cancel out room for error. Fossil fuels will eventually run out, so at a certain point we will become totally dependent of the sun’s energy, wind energy, and bio-oil. And we still do have a lot of unanswered questions about these types of energy sources such as:

- Is it going to be possible to store the energy we obtain from these alternative sources ?
- And if that is possible, how and where do we store it ?
- Should new rules be installed to agree on a global limit of stored energy ?
- How are we going to equally divide the energy fairly among all countries ?

And I’m sure this is just a small fraction of problems governments will have to solve and agree on before we can start to use alternative energy sources efficiently and save.

All the problems mentioned above play a role on a global scale, but new technologies will also bring a lot of smaller and domestic problems.
In the future most of the small tasks around the household will be arranged and taken care off by robots. However these robots like all machinery will need regular maintenance to repair and replace broken parts. And since robot technology is still in an early stage, we still have a lot to learn before we can start to use robots in our future households. Also the production and maintenance of these robots will have to be taken care off, so new jobs will have to be invented leading to the creation of a whole new business branch: robot technology.
All these plans and arrangements will require a lot of planning and money, let’s just hope robot technology will be worth it.
