This section of the website will discuss how tourism will look like in 50 years. Tourism brings some problems, like a lot of co2 emissions which are bad for the environment, pollution of certain nice areas by people but also are very positive for some of the places. People get jobs because of tourism and the economy of some countries depend fully on tourism. In 2009 there are some countries that have a lot to do with tourism, we foresee that the attractive countries will change and you are able to see that in the map below.
Tourism is the travel of people outside their own area. Tourism causes a lot of problems but also brings a lot of good things with it. The environmental problems are clear, people travel by plane or by car and omit co2 which causes global warming which will still be a big problem in the future. Tourism will still cause the same problems as it does now; the pollution of the area by people being to lazy to walk to a trashcan. Even though tourism has economic advantages for the area as people go there and spend their money on products and services. There were a lot of disadvantages for the people of the area. Tourists cause quite some problems for these people; they are loud, cause pollution on every level; Flying by plane, driving their cars and polluting the area by leaving trash. In the future the fuel of the planes and cars will be replaced by fuels that don’t cause global warming. This means there are almost no disadvantages because of Tourism left.
The countries that now are very attractive for tourism like Spain and Greece in summer and Switzerland and Austria in winter. won’t be that attractive anymore in 50 years. Other countries like Brazil and Mexico will be heavily dependent on the tourists(in summer) from Europe, South-East Asia and North America. But the biggest group of people are coming from China and India. The main-destinations will be mostly in the poorer countries. This will help more countries to develop and to improve the worlds’ equality.
