Network Rail and the British Railway System Network Rail is a 'not for dividend' company that owns and operates the railway system in Britain. The company owns the infrastructure, i.e. the railway tracks, signals, tunnels, level crossings, and most of the stations although these stations are managed by the train operating companies, such as South West Trains. |
