Issues & Policies

Barack Obama aims to change many things while acting as President for the USA by introducing War & Peace new policies and addressing some issues. At the same time, he will cut middle class taxes by 95% on the majority of the population. In terms of war and security, Obama wishes for veterans to help support troops both at home and away in other countries and end the ongoing war in Iraq. Increased security measures will also be taken into consideration for airports, ports and land borders. Issues like social security will be acted upon by making sure it is protected and adequate for his generation and the next. The Future

In the future Obama hopes to protect the American people as that is the single most important job of the US President. Obama believes that to do this effectively it will require new approObamaaches to certain things and to see it in a new vision of leadership. This is viewed as top priority as the world today is so globalized – when something happens in one country it is likely to effect America e.g. if in the east, religious schools teach young children about destruction and hatred it could threaten US children as well.
The world must work together to meet the needs of the world’s population and threats. Teamwork is a must and all 195 countries must work together to tackle issues, especially large ones which could ultimately effect the whole world, like global warming. America cannot do it alone, but the rest of the world cannot do it without America.
Obama aims to create an effective military for the future centuries. This is to ensure security for America’s people and advance security for other countries as well. He is planning to lead a world-wide effort on neutralising harmful weapons by building and strengthening alliances with other countries. By accomplishing this act, war will be greatly reduced around the world and peace may finally come.
