PIG
Now a days farm without pig is not
there. There are many types of pig, they are farm pig, wild pig, etc. farm pigs
are bigger than the wild pigs and farm pigs have short hair in their body. Farm
pigs live in the farms in indoor pens. Wild pigs are smaller than the farm pigs
and wild pigs have more hair in their body. They live in the forest. Female pig
is called as sows. Male pigs are called as boars. Baby pigs are called as
piglets. Some of the male pigs have tusks (horns).
They use this to dig or to fight
with other pigs. A male pig weighs more than a piano. A new born pig is heavier
than a bag of sugar. Piglets can walk 10 minutes after they born. Sows have
about 11 pigs and they get milk from their mother most of the time. An adult
pig can almost eat everything. But most of the food for pig is from grains.
Baby pigs get milk from their mother till 3 weeks. Pigs are used in many ways
like meat. Their skin is used to make purses, gloves etc. Even baseball’s
gloves made from this to keep them warm. The weight of every new born pig will
be increased double once a week.
