CAMEL
•Camel is a
large animal that lives in the desert.
•It is
called the “SHIP of the DESERT”
•It’s height
goes up to 2Meters.
•It has a
large hump on it’s back in which it stores water.
•It can
survive for many days without water.
•It eats the
desert plants, grasses and thorny bushes.
•It can
drink 100 litre of water and it can store the water in its stomach. When it is
thirsty it uses this stored water. It eats the needed food for 1 week. It can
walk in the hot burning sand. It eats the cactus plant. It can run 25km per
hour. It is the only animal which can live in the desert, so it is used as a
transport in desert. So it is called as the ship of the desert.
