SEALS

They are mammals. Seals can hold their breathe up to 1 hour in the water but they should come out of the water to breathe. Male seals are called bulls they are more big than the female. Female seals are called cows.  Baby seals are called pups.

TURTLES

    Turtles are reptiles. They have flippers for swimming and they live in the water. They can swim as fast as human can run. Sea turtles can pull their body parts in to their hard shell. Turtles head is covered with hard scales. They do not have teeth they only have a sharp beak. When they are 40 years old they will come to the same beach to lay eggs.

DOLPHINS

Dolphins are mammals which are inside the sea. Dolphins make different sounds for different purposes.  They all are the friend of humans. Many million years ago dolphins lived in the land.

 

DIVERS

Divers are large aquatic birds with long pointed bills and webbed feet. They are expert swimmers with their legs set far back on body. They can stay under water for long periods.  They are found in  northern Eurasia and North America


SHARKS

Sharks are big and dangerous fishes. There are many types sharks like whale shark, white shark, port jacson shark. The biggest fish in the world is whale shark.

It can hear sound till 3,000 km. It can see till 2,000 km. It can smell up to 3,000km. It is the only sea animal which has 6 senses. It eats the flesh of the other animals.


SEA DRAGON

Sea dragons are fish. They grow up to 30cm. They have fine fin that we can see almost through them. Their eyesight are very good. They eat small shrimps and sea lice. They live with the sea grasses in the sea. Male sea dragon will become pregnant but female will lay the egg. The female lays the eggs in the males tail and moves away. Fathers do not look after the babies they grow by their own.
