Q What do you think makes colors so importanat?
A Colors are very important because they make life colorful. Also, colors mean nature. Indradhanush, or the rainbow, determines life itself. Also moods are determined by color. When there is any mourning, people are expected to wear either white or black. There are countless examples. So I don’t think I can emphasize enough on the importance of colors.
Q Do colors have any particular significance in your life?
A Im not superstitious about colors but I do have an intutive feeling about the colors that suit me the most. Sometimes when I’m talking to people, and they are oddly dressed, I always feel like telling them that if you were in a different color, it would add to your personality. We also refer to colors for our day-to-day expression. If you are very pale, it shows that you have a temparament to remain sanguin, watchful. People who are more hot, more passionate, have more color on their faces. Ofcourse, anger speaks for red and people who are hot-blooded are usually the angry ones. But like a blue flower we also have the blue blooded people who are very very pedigreed. Therefore, again, life is colorful.
Q Could you associate colors to the following emotions?
A Anger – Red
Love – Pink
Friendship – White
Tired and upset – No color can be associated with them
Hunger – pale
Happy – You can be happy in any color
Scared – Like tired or upset, fright takes away all color as it too, is the opposite of being happy
Excitement – Red
Q If given a chance, what color would you change the Taj Mahal to?
A I would not change the Taj Mahal for anything. The question does not arise.
Q To what color would you like to change your hair?
A I am very luck that God has not yet changed the color of my hair. It is naturally the way it is. I use no dyes, and would like to keep it that way.
Q What do you find more soothing, the blue of the oceans, the green meadows or the pale desert sands?
A I am in love with both, the blue of the ocean and the green meadows
Q Is your room vibrantly colored in different colors or is it in a single tone? Which would you prefer?
A My room is in a single tone as I myself add color to it
Q Which color would you like to wake up to?
A I would surely like to wake up to a nice blue clear sky
Q Which, according to you, is the most powerful color?
A It is difficult for me to associate color and power. I think whoever is in power, gives meaning to the color. A person who has no power can wear anything and the color will be faded.
