People who read comics can find truth in the themes they talk about. One issue that is very important is the issue of sexuality or one’s sexual orientation. The topic is roughly new and publishers have been including gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexual characters in their comics. Talking about gay themes is not the only form of sexuality in comic books. They also feature very descriptive illustrations of male and female bodies in comics. Males are almost always seen as very muscular and toned. Females in comic books are drawn very revealing. Their costumes are sexy and provocative. This has had a long history, since the time when Wonder Woman was introduced in the 1940’s.
