Golden Age
Batman
People can always relate to Batman because he is so much like human beings. Batman was first introduced to the world in Detective Comics 27 in May, 1939. Batman’s creator was Bob Kane who unfortunately past away at age 83. Batman is unique in his own way because he does not have any kind of powers that compare to other superheroes. His wealth helped him gain access to tools, weapons, and gadgets that he needed. Besides his strength, he also had other kinds of helpful things such as his Batmobile that could block bullets. He also had his utility belt that provided chemical pellets and grappling hooks with retractable lines. Batman was like any other typical human being, except he hid his identity from other humans to avoid any kind of discrimination. At night he was another person who protected Gotham City and fought villains.
Although the Golden Age permanently ended in 1945, Batman continued to inspire many of his viewers and was a stable character for DC Comics until May, 1964. However, this turned out to be a good thing, since Batman was then introduced with a new look. His costume only had a single black bat on his uniform without the yellow oval. This was not a big change, but Batman never ceased to amaze his fans and audience.
