Addiction and Image Perception
Comic books can also be addictive. Many people might take a hobby of collecting comic books and becoming addicted to reading them and also collecting superhero figures. Comic books have developed so many characters over the years that there are millions and millions of comic books issues to collect. Addiction can be caused by people being obsessed to everything about the superheroes and since there are many comic book issues about each one, the readers will want to keep buying and reading them more and more.
Another effect would be the image perception and what men and women would get out of muscular superheroes and naked women superheroes. Women could feel uncomfortable mentally when they read comic books that have women superheroes with big breast and many sexual content, making them have muscles and body parts that can be attractive to men. Women might feel uncomfortable with their bodies when they see that the women superheroes have such nice bodies. Also image perception is an effect because people will think that the next superhero to come out will be muscular and strong with superpowers, making them look like if they took steroids, which might have much influence on teens and men.
