Plant trees

As we pray to God before starting any new work, lets plant trees before starting any new work. We can celebrate green birthday by planting a tree on our birthday and contributing to a great cause

Mahatma Gandhi once Said
"You must be the change you want to see in the world"

This is very true related to our environment which is deteriorating day by day.

If we commit to simple, achievable actions, we can lead by example and make a big difference.

So today let us all take a pledge to recycle, conserve energy, save water and protect our natural resources to make our environment cleaner and healthier.

Turn off the tap while brushing my teeth.
Turn off the lights when leaving room.
Replace light bulbs with compact fluorescent lighting
Turn off the T.V. and computer when not in use
Ride a bike or walk when I can.
Plant saplings or care for a tree by watering.
To purchase and use Earth friendly products like re-usable shopping bags.
Dispose off my trash properly.
Donate old usable toys and books instead of throwing them away.
Improve my scientific knowledge of environmental problem and solutions by viewing one relevant TV program or video each month.
