Atlantis

Atlantis the Lost Truth

The only written record of Atlantis exists in Plato's writing. This myth is a story passed down from the son of Dropides (Critias), to his grandson who was also known as Critias. Dropides had gotten the story from his distant relative but close friend, Solon. Solon was a lawgiver, poet, and Athenian traveler who received it from Egyptian priests. Timaeus and Critias is where the story comes from, though Atlantis is only mentioned in one section. If you would like to read the story, please click below!

Where was it?

The location of Atlantis is still a mystery. In fact it really depends on what you think, for many locations that people come up with are based on what they believe.
