The Hindu Kush Mountains

The Hindu Kush mountains are a mountain range that run from north Pakistan to north east Afghanistan. These mountains rise to 25,236 ft, in Tirich Mir, on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. They recieve heavy snowfall, and they have little vegetation. They also have permanently snow-covered peaks. When the snow melts the water leads into the Amu Darya and the Indus river.
