When we add it to chocolate liquor, it produces a type of chocolate that we enjoy eating. When you eat chocolate and you feel that smooth texture and you think it is melting in your mouth, it has come because of the use of cocoa butter.
Cocoa butter also is used in many other ways. It is often found in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. It melts at 97 degrees Fahrenheit, so it will not melt if kept in a cool place. It nicely blends and smoothes into skin. It helps to heal. It also does not spoil. It is often used in pregnancy lotions to reduce the amount of stretch marks. Cocoa butter has many uses.
