Conducting Research
We started our research thro' books available in our school library. The ill-effects of junk food was our special concern. We collected the content and information on our project topic. We came across some very useful books, magazines and newspaper articles on Healthy food. We found a lot many articles in the newspaper itself. They too like us were creating awareness among the children. Next we searched the topic on the net. Never before we had worked on a topic like this before
Survey
Survey was one of the important ways by which we gathered real information right from our school mates. (seen in the picture) Team members taking a survey of the number of children bringing junk food for lunch. And the results amazed us. Based on the survey we made a graphical representation of what we gathered
Making posters
Poster making was fun as it was a way to express ones creativity and ideas in a crisp form. Each one of us contributed based on our ideas we gathered while working on the topic. We made a lot many number of them but we have uploaded only a few for want of space.
Book
It was a product of our collective effort. We released two books-a scrap book and a picture book, on different occasions. The editing was done by our Project Coach. These books were circulated among the schoolteachers as well as the students .We were encouraged to hear their appreciation about our book
Special activities
The best part of the project was implementing what we had learnt to the other classes of the school. We enjoyed doing this activity. We thank our school mates who co-operated with us while the execution of the project
Making website
We have organized all that we have collected and learnt to make it into this site. We divided the work according to our team member's interest and caliber. We divided the work between our school and home. In the process of making this site we learnt new technology and soft wares. This is our first site, we will try to improve upon the learnt skills next time.
