We were elated to see our project making news in our national newspaper "The Hindu Young World" dated Mar 24th 2009.
The same day it also appeared in the on-line version of the same paper.
It was like an energy booster.
- Arun- a voracious reader, helped in collecting content.
- Parvathy-an artist, all the banners are drawn by her.
- Ashwin-a gentleman, expert in on-line search helped in putting the content in order.
- Christine-event manager, most of the activities done in the lower classes were under her supervision.
- Ashwin-our spokesman, helped in interviewing dietitian, comes from a family of docs.
We brought collaboration into our project by working in different classes dealing with people lower to our age group. The activities they performed complemented our objectives. We also brought in collaboration by taking assistance from some renowned dietitian, who readily agreed to help. We are thankful to them.
We divided our work between our school and home. Sometimes it was difficult to work from home coz parents prefer seeing us with our school books than with computers. Anyways all problems resolved when they came to know the serious issue we were dealing with. We learnt a lot of technical skills from our Project Coach, we are thankful to her for all the support and guidance. This is the first of the kind that we are working on. We hope to take up many more ventures in the future.
