The Italian Renaissance was one of the greatest historical periods. The Italian Renaissance was the golden age for the
Italians. Renaissance means "rebirth", which is what happened in the Italian Renaissance after the Dark Ages. The
Italian Renaissance was a time of flourish and new innovations. It started in the thirteen hundreds and ended in the
sixteen hundreds. There were advances in art, architecture, philosophy, religion, government, and many other fields.
This time period was euphoric at the idea of new theories and a wide variety of achievements. The Italian
Renaissance was strongly influenced by its geography. The Renaissance strongly evolved around the cities of
Florence, Venice, and Milan. Italy’s atmosphere was filled with new thoughts and breakthroughs. From Italy, the
Renaissance moved into other parts of Europe.
