This is a portriat of Donate.

Danoto Bramante started off as a painter in his earlier years. But, he showed more interest in archiecture. He studied under many architectural masters and his first architectural "job" was when Cardinal Caraffa commissioned him to rebuild the cloister fo the Convent della Pace. His first large and major project was to rebuild palace and the Belvedere. Along with those works, Donato Bramante had many small works in Rome and Bolongna, along with one of the biggest architecutral enterprises ever attempted -- the rebuiding of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City. He died before he could complete he could finish this architectural feat, but Michelangelo took over for the rest of the project. Although Donato Bramante was not as famous as Filippo Brunelleschi or Michelangelo, he certainly was well-known for many of his projects in during the Italian Renaissance.
