
Tribesmen and the people of Bakuba still live in the families that own land today.The homes there in modern Africa are built similar to eachother and built from the different materials around them. In the villages of Africa today, there are some villagers that have been living there like their ancestors had 500 years ago.
In Niger, the practice of slavery was banned in the year 2003.
Kids were abducted or purchased by $20 to $70 each by
slavers in the poorer states of Africa.
Slavery is still running in Mali with some people called the Tuaregs enslaving the "Bella People".
Approximately 90,000 black Mauritanians are still enslaved by the Arab and Berber owners, in the land of Mauritania.
Africa is has many landforms like rainforests, land and grasslands, but the most-known feature is the the Sahara. The Sahara Desert is the most largest desert in the world. Africa also have more geographic features like rivers. It consists of 5 major river systems. But the 3 main rivers of Africa are the Nile, the Congo, and the Niger. Africa is also the second largest continent in the world. It is three times larger that the continental United States.
