Disease from snoring
Syncope
Syncope means loss of consciousness or fainting. It is a commonly found symptom. The causes of this may be as severe as the abnormalities in the heart. The abnormalities results from sleep deprivation in snorers as snoring will disrupt ones sleep, making one feel sleep-deprived.

Snoring could lead to excessive tiredness during the day, undermining the ability to study or work. It is also a vital cause of death by road accidents.
Stroke or Brain attack
This disease is life-threatening and may result in disability as snoring obstructs oxygen’s conveyance to the brain.
Coronary artery disease
The respiratory system does not function properly as we snore and one may temporarily stop breathing. This could lead to oxygen shortage in the artery leading to the heart while sleeping, especially in patients of coronary artery disease, hypertension, or high blood cholesterol. While in the shortage in the blood, the blood vessels will contract and this may lead to a heart attack and sudden death. |
