Yoga as a Medicines

 

Yoga is a way which maintains coordination among trinity of Soul, Mind and Body.The different Asanas or Postures of Yoga has got curative action on different parts of our body that keep them active and make them able to work properly.

Researches have shown that Yoga is helpful in curing many diseases varying from simple day to day one’s like headache, stress, indigestion to big ones like Cancer, Arthritis, Diabetes etc.

Most importantly Yoga does it all without having any side effects.For Ex:-To name a few……

Vajra Asana helps in proper digestion and increase our memory.
Mulabandhana Asana stimulates the body’s main nerve centers and endocrine gland.
Bhujang Asana gives a strength to muscle of neck,back and trunk and cure the back pain and neck pain.
KapalBhati removes impurities from respiratory system tract.

These are only a few examples and the list is quite long. Thus we see that different forms of Yoga Asana are capable to cure lot of diseases. They can control and cure many others health problems like headache, Sexual Problems, Nervous Disability, High Blood Pressure and similar other chronological diseases and even other very serious problems like Cancer, Arthritis, Diabetes, Asthma etc.

“Practicing Yoga during pregnancy is one way to heal the split between soul and spirit found in our culture. Prenatal Yoga sexualizes spirituality and spiritualizes fertility. It is the tantric practice of mothers.

Thus saying “Yoga functions as a Medicine” is correct in every respect.
