At first
I was completely ignorant about yoga and was reluctant to join any
yoga class but when I was introduced to it by one of my classmate,
I thoroughly enjoyed doing yogic exercise and got immense pleasure
in doing that.
As we all know that “Health is Wealth” that is “A
sound mind resides in a sound body”, therefore I feel that
yoga plays a very crucial role in our daily life. It rejuvenates
our body and relieves us from stress. It also uplifts our spirit
and bonds us with the divine and makes us able to communicate with
our soul.

Yoga
has been practiced in our country since ages by sages (also called
as “Rishis”). Now it has gained popularity among the
common people due to its inevitable applications and also as in
this fast going life style and heavy work culture it helped them
in releasing their stress. I am doing Yoga from more than 3 years
under the guidance of my parents and finding me much better than
my classmates and other friends in terms of health and memorizing
things.
Now Yoga has also gained international acclaim and people all over
the world either doing it or eager to know more about it. Researches
have shown that Yogic exercise can also cure serious ailments like
Cancer, Diabetes, Asthma etc and more importantly without any side
effects. I think we should inculcate the habit of Yoga to one and
all as it is made for the well being of mankind and everyone should
utilize it to full extent. |

Earlier when
I used to come across various television channels showing different
instructors performing yogic exercises and telling its benefits
I never took it seriously nor did I get into its details ever but
when I started working on this project, it changed the way I think.
For this project, I need to consult some books and also have to
search on Internet by which I have come to know the history and
details of Yoga, its medicinal applications and the way it makes
our life more systematic and healthy. Now I am doing yoga in morning
as well as in the evening and really helping me to concentrate more
on my work.I hope this project helps everybody who wants to live
a healthy, stress free and a happier life.

There are
many things in this world which has fascinated me a lot. Among
them one of my favorite’s topics is Yoga. Now I again
get chance to grasp the knowledge on yoga. The best thing
about yoga is that you can do yoga anywhere and at any time.
For instance if I are sitting on a chair than I should sit
with straight-back which will help me to keep my backbone
straight. If I am sleeping, for a few minute I should straight
because researches says during sleeping we can extend our
body to the height length and it will help to ride away my
tiredness and help me to increase my height. The most amazing
thing is that a child of age 1 also do yoga by sitting and
standing and it help him to run and walk and give a big smile
on mother face.
I really like yoga very much because Health is Wealth and
we can achieve our health with the help of Yoga.
