We sleep, eat, talk, walk, jump, run, think, act, pee, poop, I could go on forever and talk about the amazing things our body is capable of doing but there’s just too many to mention. There are different major organ systems that make our body function properly.

Each system simultaneously and collaboratively works 24/7, which enables us to do our daily tasks. These important systems make up the human anatomy.  In this website we will be tackling on four different major systems that make up our body. They are: The skeletal system, nervous system, cardiovascular system, and the digestive system.  We picked these four because they are four of the most important systems in the human anatomy.

The skeletal system deals with the structure of our body’s bones, which makes our body sturdy and movable. The nervous system is important because of the brain—with out the brain we wouldn’t be able to command our body to do anything. The cardiovascular system, also known as the circulatory system pumps the blood throughout the body making it possible for us to transport oxygen in our blood vessels. Lastly, the digestive system works as the machine that allows our body to grind the food that we eat and convert it into energy that we need.

"You will have to learn many tedious things.............. which you will forget the moment you have passed your final examination, but in anatomy it is better to have learned and lost than never to have learned at all."
- W. Somerset Maugham (1874-1965) Advice to first-year medical students.

-Four Major Systems that we’re going to do our research on are:
                1.  Skeletal System
                2. Nervous System
                3. Cardiovascular System
                4. Digestive System

The nervous system helps us to do essential stuff as to laugh, run, and smell.
The digestive system allows us to absorb nutrients and transform food into energy.
The skeletal system gives us the ability to move freely like walk, run, and jump.
