Our planet is
running out of room and resources. Modern man has plundered so much,Earth's population will be
forced to colonise two planets within 50 years if
natural resources continue to be exploited at the current rate, according to a
report out this week.
A study by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), to be released on Tuesday, warns that
the human race is plundering the planet at a pace that outstrips its capacity
to support life.
In a damning condemnation of Western society's high consumption levels, it adds
that the extra planets (the equivalent size of Earth)will
be required by the year 2050 as existing resources are exhausted.
The report, based on scientific data from across the world, reveals that more than a third of the natural world has
been destroyed by humans over the past three decades.
Using the image of the need for mankind to colonise
space as a stark illustration of the problems facing Earth, the report warns
that either consumption rates are dramatically and rapidly lowered or the
planet will no longer be able to sustain its growing population.
Experts say that seas will become emptied of fish while forests - which absorb
carbon dioxide emissions - are completely destroyed and freshwater supplies
become scarce and polluted.
The report offers a vivid warning that either people curb their extravagant
lifestyles or risk leaving the onus on scientists to locate another planet that
can sustain human life. Since this is unlikely to happen, the only option is to
cut consumption now.
Systematic overexploitation of the planet's oceans has meant the

Everything has a consequence, either good or bad. When
you take something away, what's left? Will it grow back on it's
own? Will it ever repair its self?
If the answer is No, then we as the taker should do our part to replace it, so
that future generations may also take and give. It sounds like such a perfect answer,
but humans have one giant flaw: Greed. All for me and none
for you. So what happens? We take too much and expect to receive more
without trying. Then when things become desperate, because we took more than we
could replace, things get violent. Fights breakout, even wars
all because we couldn't take the time to foresee our own greed.
What happens when one animal in the food chain eats too much of another animal?
The cycle becomes unbalanced. When one creature is extinct, it's
predator must hunt another animal. This small shift, effects
everything else in the cycle. And once a species is entirely extinct, who knows
how much it can affect other species.
Not to mention the fact that pollution is most damaging of all. Do people
really think we could do this and not expect something bad to happen? The
answer is to find better more balanced alternatives. Recycling.
Finding more efficient ways of energy and fuel. Instead of complaining about high gas prices, but not doing
anything to solve the problem.

EVERYONE HAS AN EQUAL
RESPONSIBLITY OF KEEPING OUR ENVIRONMENT CLEAN AND GOOD.MY PERSONAL
RESPONSIBLY, SUGGESSTIONS I HAVE ARE THE FOLLOWING :-
1.I USE MOSTLY USE CYCLES AND MASS TRANSPORTS.
2. FAMILY HAVING MANY CARS MUST BE TAXED.
3. Stop cutting of trees:
If we want to cut seek permission from the Govt.
There must a rule made that way...
4. stopping the use of plastics and polythene bags may
be very helpful in the future.
5.By planting more trees we can keep our environment
good and by making proper waste disposal, proper sanitation we can keep our
environment clean.
6.Stop the extra use of water as it is the most
important resource and now is the most used one. only
about 1% of fresh water is remaining for your daily use.
Exactly the amount of water required for a family should be supplied to it.
7.Ban of thick plastic bags.
8.proper garbage disposal methods should be followed.
