Life is full of challenges for some, but for some it is  a gruesome  disaster.  People who are having hearing loss, take their handicap in a stride and meet  the challenges. Mr. Balu, whom we met is working for a  musical shop  setting electronic configuration. He has undergone special training for this purpose.

Arun, a diploma holder from Indian Technical Institute, is  an expert in electronic configuration and soldering of musical instruments.  He was an active member of Football Association  and did not spare any field of activities during his school days like group dance, painting.

Mamatha, a II year Pre University student  in Udayanagar, Bangalore is a source of inspiration for all hearing impaired. When we met her in her small classroom with such a lot of enthusiasm in her eyes for studying  Commerce , we could hardly believe that she had a hearing defect. She participated in the College Fest, dancing her way to the tune of a classical number without hearing the song.

Bhavya, from Mandya, a suburban city in Karnataka came to Bangalore with a hope that she would get a chance to continue her studies after finishing high school. She heard of Mr. Vijayaraj, who is the founder of the Pre University college for hearing impaired. She had to take a house on rent and stay in Bangalore to study in his college.

The tiny innocent kids of  Shastri school in Mahalaxmi Layout are versatile in drawing, origami and  above all  well cultured. In spite of their disabilities, they are ready to help in the household work, cleaning and  setting the furniture for class study.
