Teaching is like no other profession.It is a unique phenomenon. A teacher wears many hats, for example , a communicator, a disciplinarian, a conveyor of information, an evaluator, a classroom manager, a counselor, a member of many teams and groups, a decision-maker, a role-model, and a surrogate parent. After a young child's parents, the next most important person in his or her life is a teacher. Elementary school teachers play a vital role in the development of young children. What children learn and experience during their early years can shape their views of themselves and the world, and affect later success or failure in school, work, and their personal lives. But of course who opts to be a teacher is a teacher. One who becomes a teacher under compulsion may encounter difficulties. Once he/she accepts to be a teacher he needs to perform his duty. As Swami Vivekananda said "Duty is seldom sweet. It is only when love greases its wheels that it runs smoothly; it is a continuous friction otherwise. How else could parents do their duties to their children, husband to their wives and vice versa? Do we not meet with cases of friction every day in our lives? Duty is sweet only through love."

A teacher is someone who is like a burning candle and burns on the both way.A true teacher is someone who can come down to the level of the student, transfer his soul and can see from the eyes and think from the mind of a student.There are many teachers but some of them do not possess the above quality but yes there are some for whom the statement and thoughts exist. For a teacher to keep burning, the role of the students is also very important.This never ending burning, to destroy the narrow minded savegery and making our mind to develop the best knowledge from both makes the journey sacred.
Like the flowers blossom by the ray from the sun,the moon floods the world with its cool light,the raindrops quenches the thirst of the parched land simirarly a teacher,along with his/her journey sows seeds of kindness which later turn into a tree of immense wisdom.
