This project is completed by the unique ideas of Jayajit & Sarba ( class IX) of K.V. Ballygunge and Subhrajit ( class XI Comm.) of K.V. Fort William. We hope that we have reached the outcome.

We love the think quest site but have never participated in any competition. This is for the first time that we are trying to do something. It was a wonderful experience working together. Collaboration has enriched us all.

Our teacher says that without the students the teacher stands nowhere. This idea touched us a lot

Where ever a person stands in his or her life, it is the teacher who has made him or her so. From here only this idea came to our mind that a true teacher has to undergo a sacred journey. A teacher has made us one with the 'oneness'

A teacher to us is a:

Teacher a communicator - One of the most important qualities of a teacher is his or her loving voice. It is not only that whether he or she has a vast knowledge, but the most important thing is how well he could communicate with the students. A teacher thus could draw their students very well through their communication skill.

A conveyor of information - The best way to get any information is through a teacher. As he or she only make a student understand in a better way than any one else. A teacher not only gives information but along with, he gives immense knowledge and wisdom.

A classroom manager - A teacher is the best person to manage a classroom. They get with all the disputes and settle the classroom quietly.

A role-model - For some of us a teacher really becomes a role model in our lives. It is due to his or her nature or quality of grooming that we get influenced and start taking the characters in our lives.

A disciplinarian- It is said that we learn discipline from our homes but there are still broader form of discipline that we learn from schools. Here a teacher's role in shaping a student is very important.

A surrogate parent - For quite a long time we are away from our homes and our teachers acts as a surrogate parent by taking care of all our needs with love and tenderness.
