The youngest person to win a gold medal in skateboarding is Ryan Sheckler who won a gold medal at 13 yrs. old in 2003. He was born December 30, 1989 in the U.S.A. He won the gold medal in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A, during August 17, 2003. He participated at the ESPN X Games 9.

Anthony Frank "Tony" Hawk holds the most medals (With Andy Macdonald, 16 summer X Games skateboard medals). Tony Hawk was born on May 12, 1968.

Lindsey Jacobellis was born on August 19, 1985 in Danbury, Connecticut. She is an American snowboarder from Stratton, Vermont.

 

John Rodney Mullen was born August 17, 1966 in Gainesville, Florida is a professional Freestyle skateboarder. He is known for inventing many tricks, including the kickflip, the Heelflip, the tre flip (also known as the 360 kickflip), and the Impossible. He also has many nicknames and one of them is "God."
