During the course of our project we interacted with two famous personalities, who have dovoted their whole life to the conservation of nature and especially butterflies. Dr Krishnamegh Kunte and Mr Isaac Kehimkar are well known around the world for their contribution towards the protection of Butterflies. both the parsonalities are famous Nature activists, Writer and Scientist.

Dr Krishnamegh Kunte is presently working as Post-doctoral Research Fellow (Kronforst Lab), FAS Center for Systems Biology, Harvard University 52 Oxford St Northwest Lab Room 458.40-3 Cambridge, MA 02138, USA. He is the author for the famous book Butterflies of Peninsular India.

Mr Isaac Kehimkar is the General Manager for Bombay Natural History Society(BNHS) at Mumbai. He has devoted his whole life to the cause of Conservation of Nature. His famous works are The Book of Indian Butterflies, Butterflies of India and Common Indian Wild flowers.
