Orange tipThe Great Orange Tip (Hebomoia glaucippe) is butterfly found in Asia and Australia. As the name suggests the apex of the forwing is orange in colour. The rest of the wing is white to pale cream in colour.

This butterfly is a frequent visitor Crateva religiosa plants and we have spotted this rare buterfly in our school garden sitting momentarily on Ixora flowers.

This rare visitor was spotted momentarily in our school garden at Bangalore on the Ixora flowers. We were thrilled to photograph the butterfly. Only two snaps were possible. The reference was taken from Wikipedia.
